Build something worth building.
Vorscorp is developing technology, conducting research, and building systems around problems worth understanding properly.
We are looking for a co-founder to help establish the systems behind that work. The role carries responsibility across engineering, technical direction, product development, and the technical foundations of the organization itself.

Co-Founder
Vorscorp is looking for a technical co-founder to work directly with the founder in building the organization's technical foundation.
The role spans engineering, system architecture, product development, and technical direction. You will help determine what should be built, how it should be built, and what technical capabilities Vorscorp needs as the organization develops.
This is a hands-on founding role. Technical strategy will often lead directly into implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration. You should be comfortable working from incomplete ideas, making decisions under uncertainty, and taking responsibility for the systems you build.
You will have meaningful influence over Vorscorp's technical direction, including architecture, technology choices, engineering practices, infrastructure, and the use of AI and other emerging technologies where they provide genuine value.
The role will evolve with the organization. Early responsibility will be primarily technical and hands-on, with broader technical leadership developing as Vorscorp builds its products, systems, and team.
The objective is not simply to write software. It is to build the technical capability that allows Vorscorp to build well and repeatedly.
What you'll own
Technical direction
Define and evolve the technical architecture, engineering standards, and infrastructure required by the organization.
Systems and software
Build production systems rather than simply prototypes. This includes architecture, implementation, deployment, maintenance, and iteration.
AI and emerging technology
Evaluate where AI and other technologies can create genuine technical leverage, and turn promising approaches into reliable systems.
Engineering foundation
Establish the technical practices, tooling, infrastructure, and standards that allow Vorscorp to build repeatedly rather than from scratch each time.
Product development
Work closely with the founder on translating ideas into technically viable products and determining what should be built, tested, or discarded.
Founding participation
Ownership comes with responsibility.
The co-founder position is intended to include meaningful ownership participation. The allocation and structure will be established through formal agreement and will reflect the scope of the role and the long-term nature of the partnership.
Vorscorp's proposed starting point is a four-year vesting schedule with a one-year cliff. Equity would be earned over time rather than granted unconditionally at the outset.
What we look for
Technical depth
Strong software engineering and system-design ability, with the judgment to make architectural decisions independently.
Builder mentality
Comfortable taking incomplete ideas into working systems, from prototyping through deployment and maintenance.
Systems thinking
Able to understand relationships between software, data, infrastructure, AI systems, products, and organizational requirements.
Independent judgment
Comfortable investigating unfamiliar problems, evaluating alternatives, and making decisions without a predefined answer.
Ownership
Prepared to take responsibility for technical outcomes rather than simply completing assigned tasks.
Experience building AI systems, backend infrastructure, developer tooling, or products is particularly relevant.
